Council approves traffic controls, street name
A series of recommendations from the Traffic and Parking Commission and approved by the Hemet City Council on Tuesday will legalize parking in a widely ignored no-parking zone near a school, extend some left-turn lanes to accommodate school buses, and put up a sign telling motorists they are approaching an intersection.
