Where did you get this footage? I just watched “Easy Rider” again and none of this was in it. Do you have access to Hopper’s original cut (which was significantly longer than the released version)?

It seems to be lost on most that people that the Byrds were the American Beatles. It’s shitty that the radios nowadays only play “Mr. Tambourine Man” and “Turn Turn Turn”….Dylan may have wrote the songs, but McGuinn had a way of perfecting them. He was one of the pioneers of blending folk/country and rock, with legendary results. The Eagles may not have come around if not for musical pioneers like Roger McGuinn and others.

The whole movie is very real and probably the most un-biased (at least mainstream) film you can find about the hippy lifestyle in the late 1960s. The good and bad of both hippy and establishment are shown well I think, and also the establishment’s irregularities across the US.
