Is it legal to have a LED sign in your car?

Is it legal to have a LED sign in your car? Something like the following, where I can have something along the lines of “Get off my ***!” etc.
Sorry, should clarify. I’m in Wisconsin.

    depends on which state but in new york it is. you cant even have underglow on when our driving. the police say its a distraction.

    In most states,it is illegal.Go to your state page and then on to DOT laws for your state,or talk with a state trooper.

    it depends on which state are you and and whats the city ordinance it they are prohibiting it from addinig more led light in your vehicle
