HILLSBOROUGH: Two high schoolers updating Amsterdamâs outdoor classroom
The tables in the outdoor classroom at Amsterdam Elementary School were covered in stains, stagnant water replaced the classroomâs pond, and the butterfly bushes obstructed the walkways to and from the classes, Hillsborough High School juniors Michael Zhang and Kevin Wander noticed when exploring the school in summer 2009.
