Public Meeting Oct 8 about the Killing of Marty Reagin over yard sign
Marty Reagin was tragically killed on St. Simons Island as the result of an argument with code enforcement about a yard sign. Marty was trying to sell his home and had a yard sign announcing the online auction. Marty was Bi-Polar and even though the police knew this they continued to escalate the argument. Marty became very agitated and threatened to shoot police officers. They talked him into surrendering. When he came outside unarmed, Marty was shot with a taser. He ran around his house …
