Section 2-1: Zoning ordinance
1)The zoning ordinance does not allow off-premise advertising signs. You recently purchased a commercial building site that is not visible from the road. You ask for a variance to put a sign up on the adjoining lot, which is visible from the road. The owner of the adjoining lot has no objections. Explain why a variance should be given.
