After our Proposition 8 signs were stolen twice, I chose to install a security camera…I was suprised that the thief struck in broad daylight. The rest of the YESon8 signs on our block were stolen in the next hour. Last week, one of those home had 6 or 7 large 4×4 “for sale” real estate signs planted in his yard.

See, now you’re agreeing with me: you’re saying that saying the Bible doesn’t allow homosexuality is a lie. And that’s my point: when you say that the Bible is against homosexuality, it’s fake. I have no beef with Venom – I’m just saying, you pointing out some dude to me that may or may not back you up is hardly a credible debate tactic. And let’s not debate MY Christianity – my faith is what leads me here. It’s sad to me that so many people have to be turned away by prominent liars.

VenomFangx is the best example of a right Christian on youtube. Look I’m not gonna argue here, you know how stupid you sound saying that the bible says no to homosexuality? How am I suppost to answer back to you when I have in fact read the Bible and am a right Christian, I doubt you’re a Christian you just said you were to fight me in the argument and try to lie to me saying the Bible doesn’t allow homosexuality.

But if you really read the Bible, you’ll find no valid prohibition of homosexuality. I mean, that’s just the end of tale – it’s IN THE TEXT (or rather, NOT in the text). It does’t get much plainer than that.
And how does venomfangx factor into your argument here? Far as I can tell, he doesn’t really weigh in on homosexuality, and i’d hardly consider him a credible expert anyway.

This is what I’ve been telling you to do – yet you refuse to do so, because you have a prejudice that you simply don’t want to let go of. There is simply no reason for you to say that the Bible is disallowing of homosexuality.

Also, you just shot yourself in the foot. You do know that the word ********** didn’t really appear in Biblical translations until 1959, right? In more puritanical times, are you really surprised that translators would, out of their own ignorance and prejudice, misrepresent the words of the bible to suit their own needs? Prior to that, the operative word was “sodomite”. This referred not to *** sex, but citizens of Sodom and Gomorrah, sinful cities that were ruined for turning their backs

Well, we’ve already disproved Leviticus. One cannot use Levitical law as a valid talking point in an argument like this for one simple reason: hypocrisy. Unless you’re prepared to follow every last law in Leviticus, it’d be shameful to pick and choose which ones you feel are worth following. And tread carefully before you answer this, because if you say that *** people are incorrect based on Leviticus, you’re also saying that you condone slavery. No two ways about it.
